As a Middle School History Teacher, you will serve as a vital link in our academic community, teaching history with a distinct commitment to our school's vision, mission, and core values. This role exists to foster a learning environment where students not only master historical content but also develop wisdom and knowledge through a Biblical worldview.
In this position, you will plan and execute engaging, innovative lessons that utilize project-based or applied work to connect history to real-world, 21st-century contexts. You will actively integrate technology to enrich student learning while encouraging communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. Beyond the curriculum, you will function as a mentor and discipler, managing the classroom effectively to support students in their spiritual and academic growth. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate winsomely and effectively with parents, reflecting Christ in all interactions, while collaborating respectfully within diverse teams of faculty, staff, and students.
