The Middle Market Commercial Banker is the driving force behind managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking customers. This role exists to expand existing customer relationships and develop new business by providing exceptional service that fulfills client needs. You will act as a trusted advisor, building and strengthening relationships through the strategic promotion of our products and services.
In this position, you will balance the art of relationship management with the science of business development. Your day will involve nurturing existing clients by assessing their evolving business and personal needs, while simultaneously cultivating new commercial relationships to increase the bank's profitability. You will negotiate loan structures, cross-sell products, and maintain a stable network of prospective customers through consistent outreach and referral sources. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of current commercial products and industry trends, ensuring you can offer sophisticated solutions tailored to the unique communities we serve.
