The Middle Market Commercial Banker serves as a vital link between Wintrust and our commercial clients. This role is designed for a relationship-driven professional who thrives on expanding existing customer connections and developing new business opportunities. You will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial banking customers, ensuring that every interaction fulfills client needs while driving the bank's profitability.
In this position, you will act as a trusted advisor, assessing both business and personal needs to provide exceptional service. Your day-to-day involves nurturing client relationships, negotiating loan structures, and effectively cross-selling products. You will also be responsible for maintaining a stable network of prospective customers through consistent outreach and building a professional network of Centers of Influence (COIs) to facilitate new business development. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of current commercial products, industry trends, and the ability to manage renewals and collection efforts with precision.
We are committed to finding the right fit for our team. While specific interview steps may vary, candidates can expect a process designed to evaluate both professional expertise and cultural alignment. We look for individuals who demonstrate strong communication skills, a proven ability to establish client relationships, and the organizational skills necessary to proactively manage workflow.
