The Middle Market Commercial Banker serves as a vital link in managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking customers. This role exists to expand existing customer relationships and develop new business by providing exceptional service that fulfills client needs. You will act as a trusted advisor, nurturing relationships by assessing both business and personal needs while promoting products that drive value for our clients.
In this position, you will balance the art of relationship building with the science of credit analysis. Your day will involve cultivating new commercial business relationships, negotiating loan structures, and cross-selling products to enhance client portfolios. You will also maintain a stable network of prospective customers and build a professional network of Centers of Influence (COIs) to facilitate new business development. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of current commercial products, industry trends, and the ability to manage renewals and collection efforts effectively.
