The Middle Market Commercial Banker serves as a vital link between our institution and our commercial clients. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking customers, expanding existing relationships, and driving new business development. You will provide exceptional service to build and strengthen customer connections by promoting products and services that fulfill specific client needs.
In this position, you will cultivate new commercial business relationships to increase the Bank's profitability while nurturing existing clients by assessing and meeting their business and personal needs. The role requires negotiating proper loan structures, effectively cross-selling products, and maintaining a stable network of prospective customers through consistent outreach. You will also be expected to sustain a comprehensive understanding of current commercial products, industry trends, and practices, while building a professional network of Centers of Influence (COIs) and referral sources to facilitate new opportunities.
