The Middle Market Commercial Banker is the driving force behind managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking customers. This role exists to expand existing customer relationships and develop new business by providing exceptional service that fulfills client needs. You will act as a strategic partner to your clients, assessing both their business and personal financial requirements to recommend tailored solutions.
In this position, you will cultivate new commercial business relationships to increase the Bank's profitability while nurturing existing accounts. Your day-to-day involves negotiating loan structures, effectively cross-selling products, and maintaining a stable network of prospective customers through consistent outreach. You will also build and maintain a professional network of Centers of Influence (COIs) and referral sources to facilitate new business development opportunities. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of current commercial products, industry trends, and the ability to manage renewals and collection efforts with precision.
