The Middle Market Commercial Banker serves as a vital link between Wintrust and our commercial clients, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking customers. This role exists to expand existing customer relationships and develop new business through proactive outreach and referral networks. You will provide exceptional service by promoting products and services that fulfill specific customer needs, ensuring clients receive the personalized attention they expect from a community-focused institution.
In this position, you will cultivate new commercial business relationships to increase the Bank's profitability while nurturing existing clients by assessing and meeting their business and personal needs. Your day-to-day involves negotiating proper loan structures, effectively cross-selling products, and maintaining a stable network of prospective customers through consistent engagement. You will also sustain a comprehensive understanding of current commercial products and industry trends, while managing documentation, renewals, and collection efforts to ensure portfolio health.
