The Middle Market Commercial Banker serves as a vital link between Wintrust and our commercial clients. This role is designed to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial banking customers by expanding existing relationships and developing new business. You will provide exceptional service to build and strengthen customer connections, ensuring that our products and services effectively fulfill client needs.
In this position, you will act as a strategic partner to your clients, assessing both their business and personal financial needs to nurture long-term relationships. You will be responsible for new business development through referral sources and proactive outreach, while also sustaining a comprehensive understanding of current commercial products and relevant industry trends. Success in this role requires balancing the cultivation of new commercial business relationships with the diligent management of existing files, renewals, and collection efforts.
