The Middle Market Commercial Banker is the driving force behind managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking customers. This role exists to expand existing customer relationships and develop new business through exceptional service. You will act as a trusted advisor, building and strengthening relationships by promoting products and services that fulfill specific customer needs.
In this position, you will cultivate new commercial business relationships to increase the Bank's profitability while nurturing existing clients by assessing and meeting their business and personal needs. Your day-to-day involves negotiating proper loan structures, effectively cross-selling products, and maintaining a stable network of prospective customers through consistent outreach. You will also build and maintain a professional network of Centers of Influence (COIs) and referral sources to facilitate new business development opportunities, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of current commercial products and industry trends.
