As a Mid-Grade Policies and Concepts Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert within the NC3 Enterprise Center, providing critical Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS). This role exists to ensure the seamless execution of Strategic Deterrence and NC3 operations in alignment with the National Defense Strategy.
In this position, you will provide day-to-day oversight and management of NC3 operations. Your work involves maintaining enterprise-wide visibility, assessing comprehensive operational and technical risks, and developing future capabilities. You will actively collaborate with NC3 Enterprise Stakeholders to present and advocate for risk management options and prioritization recommendations to high-level leadership, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Deputy Secretary of Defense.
You will act as a bridge between technical analysis and strategic decision-making, articulating interoperable capabilities into NC3 operational requirements. This includes utilizing national, DOD, and CJCS guidance to support CDRUSSTRATCOM's planning and execution efforts.
This position is located at Offutt AFB in Bellevue, NE. U.S. Citizenship is strictly required, as the role necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance, as well as NC2-ESO, NATO, and SAR clearances.
The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process. Eligibility determinations are based on factors including allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, criminal conduct, and security violations. Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible for this position.
