About the Role
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 and Azure Architect to lead the design, security, and ongoing optimization of an enterprise environment for one of the largest public transportation agencies in the United States. This is a long-term onsite contract based in Los Angeles, CA.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on expert responsible for the integrity, posture, and design of the Microsoft 365 tenant, Azure subscriptions, and the hybrid infrastructure connecting them. You will translate Microsoft platform capabilities into measurable security, performance, and outcomes within a regulated government environment. This role demands deep technical authority paired with the judgment to operate within the constraints of public sector procurement, audit, and compliance.

Cystems Logic is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; Minimum 8 years of progressive experience designing and operating enterprise Microsoft environments; At least 5 years focused on M365 and Azure at scale; Hands-on experience with tenants of 10,000 accounts or more; Expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS, including Virtual Machines, networking, storage, identity, and governance; and Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, certificate services, and on-premises Microsoft infrastructure.
