About the Role
As an IT Support Specialist in our San Diego, CA office, you will be the frontline support for our employees, ensuring they can work efficiently and practically in a fast-paced environment. This role is designed to handle end-user support requests while assisting in broader IT operations, including managing user accounts in Active Directory and Azure environments, deploying hardware, and troubleshooting server and network issues.
You will serve as a key resource for both in-person and remote users, potentially traveling to our Virginia office as needed. Your day will involve diagnosing and resolving routine hardware and software issues, configuring diverse operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux), and maintaining the integrity of our corporate data through backup and restoration procedures. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of network administration procedures and assist in various IT-related projects.

Requirements

- verified2+ years experience administering and troubleshooting Active Directory/Group Policy
- verifiedExperience administering Microsoft 365 products
- verifiedTechnical knowledge or direct experience with VMware suite of software products
- verifiedTechnical knowledge or direct experience with Veeam or similar backup solutions
- verifiedMust be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
Nice to Have
Microsoft and Cisco Certification. Technical knowledge or direct experience with Linux systems. Technical knowledge or direct experience with Cisco, SonicWALL Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Wireless Solutions including a solid understanding of VPN concepts.
