The Environmental Services (EVS) Education & Training Manager serves as the functional leader for workforce development across Huntsville Hospital campuses. This position is dedicated to planning, implementing, and overseeing all staff education, onboarding, competency validation, and regulatory training programs. The role ensures consistent adherence to cleaning, disinfection, waste management, and safety standards while driving process improvement through standardized training initiatives.
Partnership with EVS leadership is central to this position, focusing on identifying performance gaps and aligning departmental education with Joint Commission, Leapfrog, and infection prevention requirements. The Manager is accountable for supporting regulatory readiness through competency validation, audit tracking, and performance-based training strategies.
