Dialysis Facility Administrator

About the Role

The Clinic Administrator serves as the operational leader responsible for the daily management and success of the dialysis facility. Reporting directly to regional operational leadership, this role ensures the clinic operates in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while delivering high-quality patient care. The Administrator acts as the bridge between clinical operations, corporate strategy, and the governing body, ensuring that financial targets, patient outcomes, and staff development goals are met simultaneously.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a dynamic mix of strategic planning and hands-on oversight. You will coordinate patient scheduling to optimize staffing levels, review incident reports, and lead Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings to drive continuous improvement. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to maintaining operational readiness, including monitoring equipment maintenance, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, and managing inventory.

You will also foster strong partnerships with the Medical Director, physicians, local hospitals, and community agencies. On the people side, you will recruit, train, and supervise staff, handling performance evaluations and fostering a collaborative team culture. Depending on staffing needs, you may also assume Charge Nurse responsibilities or fulfill the duties of the facility CEO as delegated by the Governing Body.
