The Metal Development Specialist serves as the operational backbone for our stone-coated metal roofing division, driving the continuous advancement of quality control and field execution standards. This position is designed to bridge the gap between strategic inventory management and on-the-ground installation realities. By focusing on the hands-on development of Install Managers, Project Coordinators, and Installation Partners, the role ensures that material ordering, field execution, and inventory utilization are consistently upheld at the highest level.
The day-to-day rhythm of this role is heavily field-oriented, requiring the specialist to be present on roofs for approximately 95% of their time to provide direct, live training and troubleshooting. Whether facilitating virtual team meetings to address company-wide challenges or conducting on-site audits in warehouses, the specialist acts as a critical liaison between regional teams, inventory partners, and leadership. The goal is to cultivate a culture of safety, precision, and efficiency across all metal roofing verticals.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate immediate proficiency in reading complex metal roofing drawings and a deep familiarity with industry-specific tools. The selection process prioritizes those who can seamlessly transition between virtual coordination and physical field presence, ensuring they are ready to model safe material handling and jobsite practices from day one.
Safety is the cornerstone of our operations. As a Metal Development Specialist, you are expected to be the primary advocate for OSHA compliance and company safety standards within the field. This involves not only adhering to strict safety protocols but actively modeling and teaching safe material handling, fall protection, and hazard mitigation to all trainees and crews. We foster an environment where safety is non-negotiable and where every team member is empowered to speak up about potential hazards.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics. We are dedicated to providing a workplace where everyone can thrive and contribute to the advancement of our metal roofing operations.
