This position can be located out of Bakersfield, Lancaster, or Victorville.
The Merchandising Manager serves as a pivotal leader within the Merchandiser department, tasked with increasing and maintaining total supply chain efficiencies for both the department and its suppliers. In this capacity, you will manage a team of front-line employees to merchandise a diverse portfolio of products to key retail accounts.
Your day-to-day involves providing clear direction and training to the Merchandising team through the Company's established training program. You will also mentor and develop Merchandiser Supervisors to ensure the smooth execution of work procedures within retail stores. Beyond team leadership, you will lead projects and initiatives designed to achieve desired results and high client satisfaction while adhering to budget and schedule constraints.
To drive continuous improvement, you will track productivity to meet the Company's requirements and maximize efficiencies. This role requires maintaining open communication with Sales and Operations teams to identify execution needs and opportunities for improvement.
Candidates must possess reliable automobile transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage meeting at least the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
