The Merchandising Manager for West Florida serves as a strategic leader within our North American refreshment beverage business, ensuring the successful execution of KDP brands across Tampa, Fort Myers, Sarasota, and surrounding areas. Based out of our Tampa facility, this role is pivotal in driving territory sales goals by developing robust on/off-shelf distribution strategies.
In this position, you will lead, train, and develop a team of five Merchandising Supervisors, indirectly overseeing a staff of approximately 110 Merchandisers. Your day-to-day involves managing labor costs, ensuring staffing aligns with Annual Operating Plan targets, and driving company-wide product education initiatives. You will work closely with Grocery Managers and Account Management to strengthen market relationships, optimize inventory investment, and ensure safety compliance. This role requires a balance of strategic planning and hands-on execution, including managing merchandising routing, adjusting service frequencies, and monitoring sales activity to prevent losses.
