TIU 11 is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Worker to join our Child/Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Huntingdon, PA. Operating within a bio-psychosocial model, this role is pivotal in supporting clients on their journey toward optimal mental and emotional wellness. The primary mission is to facilitate therapeutic growth through evidence-based, trauma-informed practices, ultimately preparing clients for a successful transition back into their home school districts.
As a Mental Health Worker, you will serve as a frontline provider in a dynamic clinical environment. Your day will be characterized by direct, high-impact engagement with patients, spending at least six hours daily in face-to-face contact between 8:00 AM and 2:45 PM. You will facilitate three therapeutic groups each day, co-facilitate family therapy sessions, and conduct crisis interventions. Beyond direct care, you will play a key role in the continuum of treatment by completing psycho-social assessments, assisting with treatment planning, and participating in discharge planning. This position requires a balance of clinical independence and collaborative teamwork to ensure a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for all clients.
