About the Role
We are seeking a School Based Mental Health Therapist to provide essential services to a diverse neurodivergent student population ranging from elementary through high school ages. This includes supporting students with autism spectrum disorders and co-occurring mental health needs. The role focuses on facilitating therapeutic groups, supporting emotional regulation, strengthening social development, and promoting overall student well-being while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families.
You will work within a supportive and collaborative team environment on a school-year schedule with summers off. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on student success in a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedMaster's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field
- verifiedActive California LMFT, LPCC, LCSW license or associate registration (AMFT, ASW, APCC) or Cleared PPS credential
- verifiedDOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
- verifiedExperience facilitating group therapy with adolescents
Nice to Have
Experience working with neurodivergent populations, specifically autism spectrum disorders. Familiarity with CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities. School-based or educational setting experience. Experience supporting adolescents with co-occurring mental health diagnoses.
