Join our compassionate care team at an acute psychiatric hospital dedicated to children and adolescents. Our mission is to provide structured, trauma-informed support to young people experiencing behavioral health challenges, helping them feel safe, supported, and empowered on their wellness journey.
As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a hands-on role in making a difference every day. This position is designed for someone who thrives in a team environment, possesses a passion for behavioral health, and feels called to serve youth in rural communities. You will be the calm presence that helps young people navigate crisis situations, working alongside clinical team members to contribute to individualized care plans.
Your day will involve supporting daily routines and group activities within a structured treatment setting. You will monitor patient safety and well-being through direct engagement and observation, assisting with patient transportation and participating in de-escalation when needed. This is an opportunity to be physically present and emotionally grounded, supporting patients who may need assistance with mobility or daily routines while believing in the potential for recovery and wellness for every individual.
We are looking for candidates who are calm under pressure and ready to make a meaningful impact. If you are interested in joining our team, please submit your application with your resume and a brief cover letter detailing your experience in psychiatric or hospital settings.
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are dedicated to providing a respectful environment for our patients, families, and staff.
