The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mental Health Program Specialist 3 to join our team. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities and their families with flexible, high-quality, member-driven services. These services empower individuals to exercise their rights and responsibilities regarding independent decision-making and community engagement.
In this role, you will be part of an amazing team dedicated to service, community, and teamwork. You will function as a lead staff member in 24-hour residential settings, coordinating and directing the activities of assigned staff, scheduling work, and providing technical advice. Your day will involve teaching transitional living skills, motivating member groups, and coordinating educational and recreational activities. You will also monitor and assess member behaviors, develop behavioral treatment plans, and participate in therapeutic treatment and problem-solving on a one-to-one basis.
