The Department of Mental Health (DMH)’s Brockton Multi Service Center (BMSC) is a Joint Commission certified facility dedicated to providing comprehensive services to adults with mental health diagnoses. Our programs include Case Management, Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS), Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), and outpatient services. We aspire to create an environment that promotes growth and independence for clients, families, and employees alike.
We are seeking an experienced clinician (LICSW) to lead one of our state-operated ACCS teams. In this role, you will guide a multi-disciplinary team—including LPHAs, nurses, peer specialists, and mental health workers—to deliver comprehensive, wrap-around services to individuals living in the community who are experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders.
As the Team Leader, you will champion trauma-informed, person-centered care. Your day will involve supporting staff in assessments and treatment planning, ensuring interventions utilize evidence-based best practices, and overseeing the timely completion of documentation and billing. You will foster a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes recovery, individual growth, and the integration of the Eight Dimensions of Wellness. This position requires balancing clinical oversight with administrative duties, such as conducting utilization reviews, managing performance improvement initiatives, and responding to crisis situations with immediate, appropriate interventions.
First consideration will be given to applicants who apply within the first 14 days of the posting. The pre-hire process includes a criminal background check as required by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, and verification of all education, licensure, and certifications in accordance with Human Resources Division guidelines. Selected candidates must acknowledge and attest to their COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination status in compliance with state regulations.
For questions regarding this requisition, please contact the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, Human Resources at 1-800-510-4122, Option 4. If you require a reasonable accommodation during the application or interview process, please contact EOHHS Candidate ADA Requests.
