For nearly 50 years, Zepf Center has served the Lucas County community as the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. We offer a comprehensive continuum of care, including adult and child psychiatric services, substance abuse treatment, case management, residential care, Crisis Care, therapy programs, career development, wellness services, and primary care medical services. As a trauma-informed agency, we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for both our patients and our staff.
We are seeking a Full-time Mental Health Professional to join our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). The CSU is a specialized, small inpatient facility designed to provide a safe, secure, and less restrictive environment for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis who cannot be safely treated in residential settings. In this role, you will serve as a critical link in the continuum of care, conducting triage and intake interviews, performing mental status exams, and developing short-term treatment plans. You will provide crisis stabilization services, counseling, and education to youth and families while coordinating with community resources, medical providers, and hospital staff to ensure seamless transitions of care. Your work will involve facilitating group therapy modules, managing clinical documentation to meet CMS and CARF standards, and providing critical incident interventions when traumatic events occur.
Qualified candidates with the required licensure (LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC) and experience in crisis intervention are encouraged to apply. Please note that this position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
