You Matter. Make a difference every day in the lives of the underserved. Join a mission-driven organization with a people-first culture where the unifying characteristic is a deep desire to help society's most vulnerable and often overlooked individuals.
Every day, the team has the distinct honor and responsibility to show up with non-judgmental compassion to provide hope and healing to those who need it most. Wellpath serves hundreds of thousands of unique individuals in facilities month over month, with a significant portion receiving direct clinical care, including life-saving interventions like Narcan. The collective goal is to provide quality care to every patient with compassion, collaboration, and innovation, living the mantra to "Always Do The Right Thing!" and healing the world one patient at a time.
The Mental Health Professional provides clinical services to individuals under the supervision of the Mental Health Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor, or Mental Health Director. This role exists to deliver evidenced-based psychotherapeutic interventions, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans while offering mental health consultation and training to facility staff.
You will work in an environment that fosters autonomy within a warm team setting. The role requires comfort with crisis management, severe mental illness, brief solution-focused interventions, substance use and withdrawal awareness, boundary setting, and interdisciplinary collaboration. You will also navigate specific regulatory frameworks, including 5150/5250 mechanics, Title 15, BSCC Standards, and CalAIM continuity of care.
We foster a work-life balance to support physical, mental, and financial wellbeing. The organization offers ongoing training and development opportunities for licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members, supported by best-in-class clinical resources for education and point-of-care support. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees, ensuring a culture of belonging where you can grow your career while serving others.
We are an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
