The Mental Health Associate II serves as a vital clinical support member dedicated to providing quality psychosocial assessment and psychotherapy services to individuals facing mental illness, behavioral challenges, and substance misuse. This position is designed to operate within a collaborative ecosystem, delivering care across diverse settings including clinics, schools, community centers, and homes.
In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising case managers, peer support specialists, and psychiatrists, both within the agency and with external partners such as DCBS, courts, and schools. You will assist in completing clinical evaluations, delivering evidence-based individual and group therapy, and supporting crisis response efforts. The position emphasizes a person-centered approach, helping to develop recovery treatment plans while maintaining rigorous documentation standards in the electronic health record.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Human Services and be currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in a related field. Successful applicants will be license-eligible in Kentucky following graduation and must be actively pursuing licensure.
