Lane County Behavioral Health is seeking two dynamic Qualified Mental Health Associates/Family Support Specialists to join our team as mobile crisis service responders. These roles operate conjointly within our Mobile Crisis Service (MCS) program and serve as case managers for the Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS) program. MRSS is a new county initiative designed to connect youth and families to mental health services and provide stabilization following a mental health crisis.
In this role, you will work directly with youth and families who have recently utilized Mobile Crisis Services. You will also respond to crisis calls across Lane County in two-person teams. The program provides up to 56 days of additional support for families and youth after initial crisis interventions. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes a Qualified Mental Health Professional and a Child Psychiatrist.
We are looking for dedicated individuals who are focused on solutions, passionate about serving others, and driven to connect. To be successful, you must be registered as a Family Support Specialist on the Oregon Health Authority Traditional Health Care Worker Registry. A Family Support Specialist is defined as someone who has direct experience in a parenting role of a child with complex mental health needs.
Lane County Behavioral Health provides services to more than 1,600 individuals with behavioral health conditions.
