At Positive Education Program (PEP) in Phoenix, we are dedicated to providing integrated education and mental health services for youth facing behavioral and emotional challenges. This position is a vital component of our treatment team, designed to support students in crisis and facilitate their return to a stable group treatment environment.
You will collaborate closely with classroom teachers, case managers, Family Support Specialists, and other treatment professionals to de-escalate crisis behaviors and ensure client safety. The role focuses on implementing the Neurosequential Model and Re-ED philosophy to deliver Psychotherapy, Therapeutic Behavioral Services, and Community Psychiatric Support Treatment. Your work will be central to helping students achieve their social, emotional, and behavioral goals, ultimately supporting their reintegration into public school settings or less restrictive environments.

A significant part of your role involves advocating for the vital interests of clients and families by connecting them with ecological and community resources.
You will be responsible for assessing and managing crisis situations with fidelity to the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model, aiming to reduce or avoid restraints.
