About the Team
MELT is a fast-growing local creamery with four scoop shops around DFW, a commissary kitchen named the Joy Factory, a catering and vending team, and a wholesale department. Our entire team is committed to the excellent quality of our products and the excellence in service to our guests. We pride ourselves on serving happy ice creams and happy experiences for our customers and team members alike.
About the Role
As a Team Lead, you are the leader of our Scoop Shop operations. You will manage all functions of the store, from hiring and training to scheduling, inventory, and customer service. Your job is to ensure all daily operational tasks are completed by completing them yourself and assigning them to Team Members as needed. You will always work alongside our Scoopers and Shift Leads, serving and engaging with customers to provide amazing experiences.
You will lead by example, course-correcting and coaching your team when needed. A key part of your role is developing our team members to grow within their positions, earn promotions, and develop new skills. You will take full responsibility for your Scoop Shop, owning your decisions and learning from your mistakes. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, ambitious, and people-oriented, with a passion for creating a positive staff culture.
