We are looking for a Medication Assistant to join our amazing team. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of daily care, ensuring residents receive the support they need to maintain their health and dignity. You will provide medication reminders and assistance in strict accordance with state regulations, while also administering medications as permitted by local guidelines.
Your day will involve prioritizing tasks to adapt to the changing needs of our residents, maintaining detailed digital records of medication distribution, incidents, and observations, and performing regular room visits and checks. You will monitor the safety and well-being of residents, communicating any changes in physical or behavioral conditions to the Director of Health and Wellness or the Wellness Nurse on duty. Beyond clinical duties, you will assist with resident care, respond promptly to emergency pull cords and requests from families, and audit rooms to ensure compliance for self-administering residents. This position requires a high level of service delivery and hospitality, ensuring that every interaction builds credibility and rapport with residents and their loved ones.
