Join a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of history providing housing and services to seniors. We are committed to delivering quality care and service within a Christian environment, ensuring that every resident receives compassionate, resident-centered support.
As a Certified Medication Assistant at our Sioux Falls facility, you will serve as a vital caregiver, bridging the gap between clinical needs and daily living assistance. Working under the supervision of a charge nurse, your primary mission is to support the physical and psychological well-being of our residents.
Your day will be defined by meaningful interactions and hands-on care. You will assist residents with essential activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and dining, while creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Beyond personal care, you will play a critical role in health management by administering prescribed medications within your scope of practice, collecting vital signs, and documenting resident progress. You will also encourage participation in wellness and recreational programs, helping to foster a sense of community and engagement among residents.
