The Nurse Assistant position at Avera Brady Health and Rehab is a unique opportunity for individuals in training to become Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) or Medication Aides. This role is designed to provide direct, personal care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, addressing their physical, academic, social, and spiritual needs daily.
In this position, you will work as part of a collaborative team to maintain and improve the highest level of independent function for our residents. Your day-to-day involves assisting with activities of daily living, performing vital signs, documenting patient status, and providing emotional and educational support to families. You will also play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment while adhering to Avera's CARE standards (Communication, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Engagement).
This is a regular, full-time position on the Evening Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), working 72 hours over a two-week period. The schedule includes every third weekend and holiday.
