About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Greater Med Staffing, you will serve as a vital link in patient care within a nursing home setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, your role focuses on delivering compassionate basic nursing care and ensuring the well-being of residents with low mobility.

Your day-to-day responsibilities involve a blend of direct patient support and clinical observation. You will assist patients with grooming, bathing, and eating, while also preparing their rooms with necessary medical equipment and toiletries. A key part of your role is monitoring patient vitals and behavior, reporting any changes to the nursing staff, and ensuring patients receive regular meals and proper medication dosages. Additionally, you will help transfer patients between wheelchairs and beds, adjust them to prevent bedsores, and collect samples for laboratory tests.
