About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Greater Med Staffing, you will play a vital role in patient care within a nursing home setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will provide fundamental nursing support, ranging from monitoring vital signs to offering compassionate patient observation and assistance.

Your day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring patient comfort and safety. This includes grooming and bathing patients with limited mobility, preparing patient rooms with necessary supplies, and assisting with meals and medication administration. You will also be responsible for transferring patients, adjusting their positions to prevent bedsores, and collecting laboratory samples. Effective communication with patients, families, and the broader medical team is essential, as is the ability to report any changes in patient condition to supervising staff promptly.
