About the Role

As a Travel Medical Surgical Unit RN, you will deliver high-quality bedside care across diverse acute-care settings. This role exists to ensure comprehensive patient support through direct clinical care, from initial assessments to discharge planning. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and case managers to coordinate transitions of care, including transfers and discharges.

Your day-to-day involves administering medications, managing IVs, performing wound care, and monitoring vital signs and lab results. You will also play a key educational role, teaching patients and families about diagnoses and treatments to promote optimal recovery. Additionally, you will help foster a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement by precepting fellow nurses and ancillary staff while maintaining accurate documentation in modern EHR systems.
