About the Role
As a frontline Registered Nurse on our Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse population of adult patients. This role is critical for managing continuous cardiac monitoring and complex medical-surgical needs. You will serve as a vital link in the care continuum, interpreting telemetry rhythms, administering IV therapies, and providing essential patient education. Beyond clinical duties, you will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans, while also supporting fellow travel and core nursing staff through precepting and effective communication with staffing coordinators.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct nursing care to adult patients on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- check_circleContinuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and vital signs

- check_circlePerform comprehensive patient assessments and document accurately in the EMR

- check_circleRespond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
- check_circleMaintain strict infection control and patient safety standards
- check_circlePrecept and support fellow travel and core nursing staff as needed
- check_circleCommunicate effectively with staffing coordinators to manage assignments and schedules
Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s)
- verifiedBLS certification
- verifiedACLS preferred or required by facility
- verifiedTelemetry or Progressive Care certification preferred
- verifiedMinimum 1 year recent Med-Surg/Telemetry acute care experience
Nice to Have
ACLS certification (preferred or required by facility), Telemetry or Progressive Care certification (e.g., PCCN), and travel nursing experience.
