About the Role
As a frontline Registered Nurse on our Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse population of adult patients. This role is critical for managing complex medical-surgical needs alongside continuous cardiac monitoring. You will serve as a vital link in the care team, interpreting telemetry rhythms, administering IV therapies, and providing essential patient education. Beyond clinical duties, you will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans, precept fellow staff, and ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleRespond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
- check_circleMaintain strict infection control and patient safety standards
- check_circlePrecept and support fellow travel and core nursing staff as needed
- check_circleCommunicate effectively with staffing coordinators to manage assignments and schedules
Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s)
- verifiedBLS certification
- verifiedACLS certification
- verifiedTelemetry or Progressive Care certification preferred
- verifiedMinimum 1 year recent Med-Surg/Telemetry acute care experience
Nice to Have
ACLS certification (preferred or required by facility), Telemetry or Progressive Care certification (e.g., PCCN), and travel nursing experience.
