About the Role

As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department requirements and state standards. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience.

Your day will involve assessing patient conditions during admission and each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status. You will perform procedures and monitoring as ordered, administer medications, and monitor for therapeutic responses. Additionally, you will provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and educating patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
