The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) at HCA Healthcare James Island ER ensures and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all unit functions during the designated shift. This role serves as a vital resource for staff, modeling a commitment to the organization's vision and values to support an unparalleled patient experience.
In this position, you will partner with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies. You will foster a culture of teamwork by collaborating with subject matter experts to improve outcomes and service. Your day-to-day impact includes operationalizing nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds to boost engagement, while also supporting a patient-first philosophy and engaging in service recovery when necessary. You will play a key role in shaping the team by assisting with staff scheduling, inventory control, and providing recommendations for interviewing, training, and developing new staff.
