The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) at HCA Healthcare James Island ER ensures and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care during the designated shift. This role serves as a vital resource for staff and a partner to the management team, directing and evaluating nursing care in alignment with our vision and values.
In this position, you will operationalize a patient-first philosophy, managing admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to foster a culture of teamwork, support service recovery when necessary, and drive employee engagement through initiatives like hourly rounding. The CNC also plays a key role in shaping the team by assisting with staff scheduling, inventory control, and providing recommendations for interviewing, training, and performance management.
