Nura offers a rewarding career opportunity for a highly motivated scribe to join our clinical team. This unlicensed position is designed for individuals working towards a career in healthcare, such as pre-med students or those in other health-related postgraduate fields. You will play a vital role in supporting our providers by accompanying them during clinical appointments at our Edina and Woodbury locations, ensuring excellent care is delivered to our patients.
You will serve as the direct line of communication for internal and external sources, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Your primary focus will be accurately recording the details of patient exams, including clinical history, current complaints, diagnoses, and medical orders. You will document physician conversations with families and other healthcare providers, ensuring all post-procedure data, imaging results, and lab work are entered into the EHR so physicians have the necessary information for treatment decisions.
Beyond documentation, you will proofread and edit medical documents for accuracy, assist in tracking patient compliance, and help support corporate Quality and Compliance Assurance initiatives. You will also manage administrative functions such as screening calls, making copies, and communicating discharge instructions to on-site nursing staff. Success in this role requires the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict attention to detail and upholding the safety and dignity of every patient.
