About the Role
We have an immediate opening for a Post-Acute Sales Representative covering the greater Des Moines area. In this role, you will call on the post-acute care market, selling clinical and operational solutions to decision-makers at all levels, including owners, senior clinical officers, and purchasing managers. You will present a wide range of products, including incontinence, skin care, DME, advance wound care, and gloves, while developing a deep knowledge base of Medline's extensive product catalog and value-added programs.
You will take ownership and leadership of your territory, growing it like your own business. Your day-to-day will involve cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities, presenting new products and initiatives, and educating customers on current industry trends and regulations. You will prepare bids, negotiate contracts, and build meaningful relationships with both new and existing customers.
Hiring Process
Due to the nature of this outside sales position, candidates must be able to drive a car and travel 90% of each day to interact with healthcare providers on site. The role is fully commissioned with additional incentive compensation and includes a first-year guarantee of $100,000 with the potential to earn more.
