About the Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and families, playing a vital role in the daily operations of our expanding practice. You will collaborate closely with our administrative and clerical staff while working independently to ensure a seamless patient experience. From professionally greeting visitors and managing complex appointment schedules to handling sensitive patient documentation and financial transactions, your work ensures that our medical team can focus on providing exceptional care. This role requires a high level of professionalism, flexibility, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment in full compliance with HIPAA guidelines and federal regulations.

- check_circleMaintain fax and scan portals by distributing documents and uploading to EHR

Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verified2 years customer service experience
- verified1 year EMR/EHR experience (preferred)
- verified1 year medical terminology (preferred)
- verified2 years medical office experience (preferred)
- verifiedIntermediate to fluent Spanish (preferred)
Nice to Have
Minimum of one year of EMR/EHR experience, minimum of two years of experience in a medical office, minimum of one year of medical terminology, and an intermediate to fluent level of Spanish.
