About the Role

As a Medical Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and long-term growth of our busy medical practice. This role exists to ensure efficient and profitable business operations by managing operational performance, financial oversight, staff leadership, vendor coordination, and strategic planning. You will serve as a vital link between clinical excellence and business success, collaborating with leadership to improve systems, processes, and patient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleMonitor operational performance and lead timely resolution of business and workflow issues
  • check_circleCoordinate and oversee external vendors and services providers including EMR systems and IT services
  • check_circleManage credentialing processes for professional medical staff and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
  • check_circleRecruit, hire, train and supervise administrative and operational staff
  • check_circleDevelop and implement strategic initiatives to support organizational growth and operational efficiency
  • check_circleMaintain accurate accounting records including general ledger journal entries and financial reporting using QuickBooks
  • check_circleCollaborate with leadership to improve systems, processes, and patient service delivery
  • check_circleManage cash flow, budgeting, and financial performance to support organizational profitability

Requirements

  • verifiedBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • verifiedMinimum of 3 years of relevant management or healthcare operations experience
  • verifiedPrior experience in a medical practice environment required
  • verifiedExperience with accounting processes and QuickBooks
  • verifiedExperience in EMR implementation and management strongly preferred

Nice to Have

Basic IT knowledge and troubleshooting experience. Experience in EMR implementation and management.
