About the Role
This position is more than a traditional AR/AP role; it is an opportunity to become a key part of our office operations team. You will support daily financial operations and office workflow, helping to build stronger financial systems that directly support company growth. The ideal candidate is efficient, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Your day will involve managing the accounts receivable workflow, from making collection calls to processing payments via phone, ACH, and credit card. You will also handle non-job-related accounts payable support, including vendor receipt entry and credit card reconciliation. Beyond the numbers, you will gather and distribute daily mail, answer payment-related customer calls, and assist with end-of-month financial close tasks. This role offers a unique chance to help shape and improve office workflows, bringing order to a dynamic environment and taking ownership of processes that make a real impact on cash flow and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage daily accounts receivable workflow and aging follow-up
- check_circleProcess customer payments via phone, ACH, and credit card
- check_circleEnter non-job-related vendor receipts and office credit card receipts
- check_circleSupport weekly reconciliation of credit card transactions and bank activity
- check_circleEnter daily check payments and prepare and log deposits
- check_circleAssist with end-of-month financial close tasks and process improvement
- check_circleMake collection calls and send payment reminder emails to customers
Requirements
- verified2+ years QuickBooks Desktop experience
- verifiedAR / AP or bookkeeping experience preferred
