About the Role

As a key member of our clinical team, you will serve as a technical expert and decision-maker in the absence of the Analytical Specialist or Team Leader. This role is designed for those who thrive in a clinical environment and are accountable for satisfying all job-specific obligations while complying with our organization's policies and procedures.

In this position, you will be a key operator for all instrumentation within your technical area of responsibility. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with instruments, assist in the evaluation and validation of new products, assays, and instrumentation, and help implement new testing methods, including procedure writing. You will also participate in the training of employees, serve on the Best Practice Committee for your area of responsibility, and ensure that competency, proficiency testing, quality control, and maintenance are completed and reviewed in conjunction with the Analytical Specialist.

Hiring Process & Application

This position is located at Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) and is a full-time role with days shifts (Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM start time), including every other weekend and three holidays per year. Eligible candidates for this position qualify for a $12,500 sign-on bonus.
