This position is designed for a team member who performs and reports various analyses from multiple specimen sources while maintaining the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. You will be accountable for managing multiple work processes efficiently, handling specimens properly, and resolving discrepancies on patient orders. The role involves performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control, as well as assisting in the training and orientation of new employees.
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment where you will navigate multiple computer applications to ensure accurate reporting. You will be expected to participate in educational activities to maintain current knowledge in the field and successfully complete initial and subsequent competency exams. This position qualifies for a $12,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
Successful candidates will be expected to complete initial and subsequent competency exams required for the role. Additional competencies and skills outlined in any department-specific orientation will be considered essential to the performance of the job.
