At BVHA, we are dedicated to a culture of Service Excellence, ensuring that every interaction reflects our mission and values. This position serves as a vital link in our laboratory operations, where precision and care directly impact patient outcomes. Whether as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/MT) or a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), you will be the expert behind the scenes, obtaining specimens, performing complex technical procedures, and ensuring the accuracy of critical test results.
You will work in a fast-paced environment that requires both independent judgment and seamless teamwork. Your day will involve operating and maintaining sophisticated laboratory instruments, managing quality control records, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure continuous, error-free operations. Beyond the technical aspects, you will interact daily with patients, physicians, and colleagues, maintaining a cheerful, professional manner while adhering to strict safety protocols regarding blood-borne pathogens.
To join our team, candidates must be graduates of a NAACLS-approved program and either currently certified or eligible to become certified (MLS/MT or MLT) within 12 months of hire. A college transcript is required to verify eligibility.
Note on Compensation: A signing bonus of up to $15,000 is available for new hires, contingent upon a two-year commitment to BVHA. Please note that current associates and PRN staff are not eligible for this bonus, and restrictions apply.
BVHA is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We value individuals who are customer-focused, service-oriented, and capable of demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills. We seek team members who can adapt to changing workloads, prioritize effectively, and provide care appropriate to the age and needs of every patient we serve.
