The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/MT) is a vital member of the BVHS laboratory team, dedicated to obtaining specimens and performing a wide array of laboratory tests including hematological, blood banking, chemical, microscopic, and microbiology examinations. This role exists to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of patient results, serving as a critical link between clinical data and patient care.
In this position, you will operate with a high degree of independence, utilizing sound judgment to review test results and troubleshoot laboratory instruments. Your day-to-day involves setting up equipment, performing quality control studies, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. You will interact frequently with patients, physicians, and fellow professionals, ensuring that communication reflects BVHS's culture of Service Excellence. Whether orienting students, managing STAT priorities, or collaborating on new procedures, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Note on Compensation: A signing bonus of up to $15,000 is available for new hires who commit to a two-year term with BVHS. Please note that current associates and PRN staff are not eligible for this bonus, and restrictions apply.
