The Medical Technologist/Lab Technician (MT/MLT) serves as a vital partner in delivering high-quality laboratory services at Winona Health. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, bridging the gap between technical precision and collaborative care. You will perform a wide range of laboratory procedures, including phlebotomy and complex testing, while ensuring strict adherence to CLIA '88 standards and accreditation requirements.
In this position, you will not only execute technical tasks but also troubleshoot equipment issues, evaluate test system performance, and engage in quality assurance activities. The role requires versatility, as you may be asked to work across multiple disciplines within the clinical laboratory. You will also play a key educational role, assisting in the training of lab staff and other hospital personnel on policies and procedures. Working in partnership with hospital teams, you will help drive the organization's mission by maintaining accurate, timely, and safe laboratory operations.
