The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks a dynamic and influential leader to serve as the Medical Director of the UCSF Birth Center. Based at the UCSF Mission Bay campus, this role is designed to oversee the clinical, educational, and operational functions of the unit, including Obstetrical Emergency, Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum services. The position involves coordinating high-risk, high-acuity obstetric care while educating the next generation of Ob/Gyn clinicians as faculty within our nationally acclaimed academic program.
Ideally, the successful candidate will also develop an outpatient practice within a UCSF prenatal care site. This position offers an approximate 50/50 split between administrative leadership and clinical practice, providing a unique opportunity to shape the future of Obstetrics at UCSF through program development and quality improvement.
